The difference between me and you
Is that I believe that one day
I'll find my true love in a soul mate
But you, my ignorant friend
Don't believe

The difference between you and me
Is that I'm the Lover and you're the Protector
One day you'll become a lover too
But who knows
Not I or you

The difference between you and me
Is seven years
You're the one with experience
You've been through the fire
But I still know what I'm talking about

The difference between you and me
Is that I want to live my life in peace
Being alone at home doesn't bother me
Maybe you like being in the crowd
To forget things

The difference between you and me
Is that I'm a woman
One day I'll be a mother
A wife who'll love unconditionally
But you won't know what that's like

The difference between you and me
Is that I love you
You haven't opened your eyes
You haven't seen my smile
You haven't give my love a chance

A protector protects
But a lover loves with all her heart
THe protectors are ignorant of the heart's true feelings
The Guardians protect and love unconditionally

You my friend are a protector
Try and become
A Guardian
And live fully
